In this tutorial, we will be discussing how to clone stamp tool in Photoshop CS4. In Photoshop CS4, many new tools have been added in the stamp tool. The clone stamp tool is one of the tools in the tool box and it can be very helpful in order to duplicate and recycle the same stamp across images.
Almost everyone uses Photoshop to create some cool digital images. But most of the time you need to leave some parts of the original image untouched so that you can create a new copy with your own touches. Or you can simply copy the whole photo by pressing Ctrl + C. Today we are going to show you how you can easily create a clone stamp tool that will let you do this with a single click.
Photoshop is the one of the most powerful graphic designing programs that helps you to create amazing graphic designs easily with the help of a few simple tricks and tools. The clone stamp tool, in Photoshop CS4, has been improved and now it is one of the best tools in the tool box. In this tutorial, I will be discussing how to clone stamp tool in Photoshop CS4 and also explain why it is so powerful.
I am not saying that the clone stamp tool is good only for stamp, text, silhouette, or brush tool but it is the most useful tool if used to achieve certain results. To be precise, cloning stamp tool is not a clone tool that lets you copy objects of other image or duplicate objects from other image. To be more precise, the clone stamp tool is a different tool that let you easily copy and convert one image to another in order to avoid cropping the image. I will be demonstrating how to use the clone stamp tool in the next few tutorials.
If you know how to create a decent digital copy of a photo using Adobe Photoshop’s Clone Stamp tool, we’d like to show you an even better solution that can help you create a new Photoshop file with your own content. You just need to take an image of an object and modify the original image until it looks like an interesting and new photo. We call it Clone Stamp Tool 2.0. You can even transform the original image into a mirror image, mirror one layer (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+I), duplicate a layer (ctrl+c), or change the colors of a photo.
You can even use the same clone stamp tool to create an image where the details are smaller and the highlights are brighter. You can then blend your clone stamp image with the original image to bring back the original values. It’s not easy to learn how to make a clone stamp for Photoshop, but it’s easier than you think. And it’s not a difficult task at all.
First of all, the clone stamp tool is not an object manipulation tool like others. This is the point that I have got confused with the stamp tool in the past and I was not able to understand it completely. Actually, it is a clone tool for multiple image processing and does not contain multiple selection features. That is why, you can convert an image of one layer into another image without any trouble. The stamp tool works only when you press the clone tool button in the editing panel.
After clicking the copy button, the objects are added to the destination image. I have already explained the first part of the tutorial in a previous article on the best Photoshop tools for designers and on why this particular clone stamp tool works better than other stamp tools. This is the process that you have to follow to get better results. After the new layer is added to the destination image, the clone stamp tool is activated to duplicate the object.
The use of this tool is very simple. Pressing the mouse button on one image will activate the clone tool, and holding the mouse button on another image will activate the duplication tool. The clone stamp tool can be used to duplicate, copy, and transform objects from one layer to another. As you can see, if we place two images side by side, the image on top of the other is already copied. The transfer tool helps to transfer objects from one layer to another. Now, if you want to transfer the image from the layer on top to the layer below, you can move the layer under the image without any problem. After making the transfer, the duplicated objects are automatically added to the destination image and the editing is complete.
Every object works differently and the same object in one image can be duplicated in a different way depending on the pattern and shapes of objects in the other object. But generally, you can duplicate the same object only by duplicating it and its position in the layer. In order to duplicate a particular object, the object is moved to the destination layer and the duplicate is made automatically.
When you duplicate an object, you must be careful to check if the position is same or not. If it is same, then you will be able to move the object correctly and also put a fill on the layer. If it is different, then you can click and drag to move it or remove it from the destination layer. In the next steps, I will explain the process of creating a clone stamp in Photoshop.
Make the image of your choice, click on the clone stamp tool button in the Photoshop image editing panel and click on the “Copy” button. This action will activate the copy button and this will begin the process of copying your image. As you can see, the part of the image that is on the left is copied, and then the layers are combined. After the layers are merged, the image is saved in the destination image.
After copying the image, the image is saved in the destination file and you can go on with the next step. Now, you will be able to duplicate this image.
Hope this tutorial will help you get best results from Photoshop.
